Tamilnadu Bio-Diversity Conservation and Greening Project (TBGP),     in collaboration with Forest Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Till the middle of 20th Century, Farm Fields were like forests with different species of trees and herbals on the fence. Mono cropping trends upset this biodiversity and allowed pests to reign supreme.

In order to maintain pest – predator balance and also to revive forest like farm fields, Greening Tamil Nadu Project was launched by Forest Department in 2011 in collaboration with Japanese Government titled as JICA .

VOICE Trust was chosen in 2011 to motivate farmers in 13 villages of Mannachanallur, Lalgudi and Pullambadi Unions and 1,30,000 Trees were planted in the lands of Farmers. For 2012, another 15 villages were added. In 2013, many Farmers all over Trichy District were motivated for planting around 3,50,000 Trees.
